Snickerdoodle Chex Mix
Today was a wonderful day! I found my favorite Chex Mix and am excited to share it with you. If you like sweets even just a bit you will like this Chex Mix. I found the recipe on the Cinnamon Chex box and made a few changes.
What you need:
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 2 cups Cinnamon Chex cereal
- 2 cups Coco Puffs Brownie Crunch Chex cereal
- 4 cups popped kettle corn
- 1/4 cup butter
In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon, set aside.
In large microwaveable bowl (make sure it fits in the microwave) mix cereals and kettle corn.
In microwaveable measuring cup, microwave butter uncovered for 40 seconds until melted. Pour over cereal mixture, stirring until evenly coated.
Microwave uncovered for 2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute. Sprinkle half of the sugar mixture evenly over cereal mixture, stir. Sprinkle with remaining sugar mixture, stir. Microwave 1 minute longer.
Spread on parchment paper to cool. Store in airtight container.
