Rock Me Up
I am lucky to have some amazing friends in my life who do some pretty amazing things. I am honored to share with you about my friends Britney and Krystle and their cosmetic line, Rock Me Up. Before I get ahead of myself I would like to invite everyone reading this to attend the Salon Vanity Launch Party, Saturday September 8 from 7 – 10pm at Salon Vanity on 140 S Grand Ave, Glendora, California 91742. There will be live music, giveaways as well as makeup artists on standby for demos to showcase their wonderful products.
Rock Me Up is a mineral, HD cosmetic line that is hypoallergenic, paraben free, has antioxidant protection, and photo ready. They offer a wide range of services containing wedding packages, airbrush tanning, waxing, facials and spa services, and even teach you how to do makeup to so you look great with makeup lessons or become a certified makeup artist in their makeup academy!
Britney Moya was an inspiring artist working with other makeup lines and companies when she came up with a vision; she wanted to have a say in ingredients inside products she would be using so that her makeup was healthy to wear on her skin everyday, photographed well on any occasion, while still providing great coverage. Something, I think, any woman would love to have. After 2 years of developing her idea and saving money to start her business, Britney was scared to start because of fear of the unknown. She took a leap of faith and launched Rock Me Up! Now she is just looking where to build next.
About a year ago, my dear friend Krystle started attending makeup classes to become a certified makeup artist with Rock Me Up to compliment her interest in skin care and the fashion industry. Britney described Krystle as someone interested in makeup but who had never done makeup on another person, just herself, without use of tools or brushes. Throughout the lessons, Britney watched Krystle develop from a young girl who was a little shy, to a young professional makeup artist with a great skill and a great new sense of confidence. Britney asked Krystle to come work with her to help grow Rock Me Up even more. For Krystle, the best part of her passion is she has the chance to work with and meet tons of different kinds of people while working behind the scenes doing something she loves, and she even has the opportunity to work with her boyfriend Tyler on his music videos and career.
Now Rock Me Up has moved to Salon Vanity to grow with a bigger facility. They now have more space to do facials, airbrush tanning, waxing, and of course makeup lessons and demos for their clients. For both of these exceptional girls, the best part of their career is the confidence they can make a woman feel when they see how beautiful they look when their makeup is done with Rock Me Up. They want to teach women how to do their make up in a way where they can feel this confidence everyday because they look beautiful inside and feel great outside because of it.
Come by Salon Vanity to see these girls in action at their launch party today, Saturday September 8 from 7 – 10pm. There will be hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, live music, free giveaways, Salon Vanity gift baskets, and the launch of Rock Me Up! The address again is 140 S Grand Ave, Glendora, California 91742. Hope to see you there!
