Pen Bun
I often see my sister at work and when she isn’t stealing borrowing my hair ties, she uses a pen to keep her hair up and out of her face. I always have been a little fascinated by this do, and seeing how I have no skill when it comes to hair I never was able to do it on my own hair, until now.
According to Nicole, BIC pens with rubber grips and caps work best because the rubber helps secure the bun and the cap secures the pen in place so it does not fall out.
All you need is a pen to do this (and maybe a little practice). To start, pull hair back like a pony tail and hole with left hand. Hold pen in right hand and place on right side of pony tail. Twist pen and pony tail clockwise around each other which will cause a twirl like bun. Once all hair is twisted pen should be in positing pointing with writing end up. Push pen upwards, then turn it over so writing side is pointed down and insert pen into bun. Push until most of pen is in bun and secure. Use any bobby pins as needed for shorter hair.
I tried to make a little photo guide to help explain!

This is very handy when you don’t have a clip in reach! lol
