Nutella Pocket Dessert

On 10 February, 2012 by Nicole

Being  sick is no fun… It does however give me plenty of time (and an excuse) to spend on Pintrest.  I did a Nutella search and found a pin to this recipe for Nutella Pockets.  I decided to make them that night as a dessert to have ready for my husband when he got home from work.  I started at 8:15 hoping to have them ready when he got home (he had been having a streak of getting off work on time).

The ingredients were simple and I had everything in my kitchen.  Crescent rolls, Nutella and mini marshmallows.

ingredients

toppings

I placed the rolls on my cookie sheet and spread a layer of Nutella over the top.  Then topped with mini marshmallows.

fold over

Folding the dough to meet in the middle and lightly pressing down the seam.  I also pressed along the edges to seal the dough.

Cook the pockets according to the crescent roll instructions and whala!

end product

The pockets finished on time 8:30, I waited a little bit but my hubby was still not home.  I decided to eat mine while it was still warm.

My husband had a late call and got off work late but when he returned home I warmed one up in the microwave for 15 seconds and it was still delicious.  I can’t wait to make them again and try some fruit inside… I am thinking strawberries or bananas next time.
