About Us

Welcome to in-lala-land.  We are two sisters who were best friends by convenience as children and are best friends as adults by choice.  This is our lifestyle blog, where we hope to share simple crafts, tasty recipes, inspiring style and inspiring decor!

Nicole:  

With a career in the Real Estate world I have the luxury of working at my own schedule.  This leaves me time to manage my household with my wonderful husband and assist him in his endeavors but also be as crafty as I please. Above all I feel life moves quickly and I want to be sure to capture it.  Blogging is our way of sharing our ideas with others.  My husband and I also have a personal photograph blog Balderdash & Berrys.

Jackie: 

I’m the younger sister, 22, and vegan.  Currently I attend school at California State University, Fullerton where I am studying to be a physical therapist many years down the road.  I work as a server to pay my bills, but unfortunately this makes me always busy and on the go with little to no free time. I’m very frugal and don’t buy something unless I feel I’m getting a bargain. I love photography, cooking, and crafting (when I get a chance to) and hope to fine tune my skills over time.  I’m not very good with make up or girly things, but I am trying to learn!
