I have worked on a project for a few days and finally finished. It was the kind of project that sat on my kitchen table for a week and I would work on it when I found some spare time. Well I finally finished and I am glad to share it with you!
First some background info… I originally saw an idea for dipped votives on Nest of Posies and thought they would be really cute. I went to hobby lobby and bought a few votives and some paint brushes. I set out to do my dipping and I was not very happy with my result. I had too much paint and when I went to dry my first one I dropped it on my table-cloth making a huge mess. I decided to cut my losses and change my plan. I had seen a another tutorial on Radical Possibility for confetti tumblers and decided to turn my votives into confetti votives.
All you need is some votives you want to jazz up, paint and a brush. I picked five colors and applied them one by one.
Use the wrong end of the brush to get a dot. If you want a different look check out the Radical Possibility she uses the right side of the brush and used strokes. Either way have fun with your craft and be creative.
