Coffee Cup Brownie

Yesterday I was internet browsing to kill my boredom and come up with a few craft ideas.  I saw this picture on Pintrest that was just brilliant.  Make a single serving brownie in a coffee cup…in the microwave! I was all over this one, thank you Go Promos for sharing this.

Last night I wanted to impress my boyfriend by making brownies for each of us at his house.  Using4  ziplock bags (One set for each of us) I mixed the dry ingredients and wet ingredients in separate bags beforehand at my house since he doesn’t always have the needed ingredients. It made me think that these coffee cup brownies would be perfect to take to work, on trips, RV camping, where ever a microwave will be! Just add dry ingredients to a ziplock bag and wet ingredients in a different one and add them to the cup when ready.  If you couldn’t already tell I will probably be making these often. (They taste way better than they look in my photo)

What you will need:

  • 1/4 Cup sugar
  • 1/4 Cup flour
  • 2 Tablespoons coco powder
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons oil
  • 3 Tablespoons water
  • Any other brownie toppings (ice cream, marshmallows, icing, etc)
  • 1 Coffee cup
  • 1 Fork

Mix all dry ingredients in coffee cup.  Add wet ingredients and stir until an even brownie consistency is reached.  Remove fork from coffee cup. Place cup in center of microwave and cook for 1 minute 45 seconds on high.  Be careful when removing cup from microwave as it will be hot.  And a complete single brownie will be waiting for you in the coffee cup, it is amazing!
